It is not unusual for temperatures to soar as early as March in the UK, it has happened often and as recently as just last year.

The hottest March Temperature in March ever recorded came in Cambridgeshire in when the mercury hit 25.26c on 29 March 1968, some 53 years later on 30th March last year, the UK recorded the hottest March day since with the needle touching a sweaty 24.5 degrees centigrade.
