  • Peter Crouch is 4/1 to be a contestant on this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing
  • Former boxers Anthony Crolla and Ricky Hatton both feature in the market
  • Opinionated broadcaster Piers Morgan the 16/1 outsider to star in the show this year

Peter Crouch has been a massive success in his post-football career, with one of the biggest podcasts in the UK as well as two best selling books.

Bookmakers give 4/1 odds that Crouch adds a spell on the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom as part of his many successes.

Other 4/1 shots in the market include presenter Maya Jama, who has presented with Crouch on the BBC, and Sarah Storey who is a British Paralympic athlete.

Strictly Come Dancing selected odds to appear below:

Celebrity to appear Odds Probability
Peter Crouch 4/1 20%
Maya Jama 4/1 20%
Sarah Storey 4/1 20%
Anthony Crolla 5/1 16.7%
Jade Thirwall 7/1 12.5%
Ricky Hatton 8/1 11.1%
Tyson Fury 12/1 7.7%
Piers Morgan 16/1 5.9%

Crouch is one of many who are at 4/1 odds, with bookmakers not exactly certain at who will feature in the show this year.

The standard weather presenters, BBC Breakfast presenters and so on all feature in the wider market.

Peter Crouch is one of the favourites to be a contestant in the 2022 edition of Strictly Come Dancing. He would be one of many ex-footballers to feature on the show, including David James who appeared in the 2019 series.

Former boxers Anthony Crolla and Ricky Hatton both feature in the market

Boxers have appeared on Strictly Come Dancing multiple times over the years, with their twinkle toes fitting in well from the Ring to the Ballroom.

Anthony Crolla only retired in 2019 and is as short as 5/1 to be a dancer on the 2022 series.

Fellow Mancunian Boxer Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton is 8/1 to be on the show, with Hatton one of the most famous British boxers in recent times.

His fights against Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather still feature high up in PPV records in the UK.

Tyson Fury is also a boxer that comes up in the betting market at 12/1 to be a contestant on this year's show, but with him at the top of the heavyweight division he may find it hard to find the time.

Piers Morgan outsider to star in this year's series

Piers Morgan usually features in a lot of the Reality betting markets as the broadcaster is always linked with these types of shows.

As he is quite an opinionated figure, he'll automatically drive up the TV ratings with his appearance on shows like Strictly Come Dancing.

At odds of 16/1, bookmakers give just a 5.9% chance that Morgan will be on the 2022 series of the Dancing show.

Morgan has previously had a public bust up with Girlband Little Mix and one of their members Jade Thirwall is 7/1 to be on the show.

With Little Mix confirming that they will have a break after their tour in May, Thirwall will be looking at other 'solo projects' to go forward with.

Piers Morgan is a 16/1 outsider to appear on 2022's Strictly Come Dancing series, with the broadcaster always linked with these reality shows.
