West Ham are now as short as evens to sign Scott McTominay this summer
West Ham finally look to be spending the Declan Rice money this summer and UK Betting Sites now offer odds on Scott McTominay being next in their incomings.
Reports on Wednesday morning on social media pointed at West Ham agreeing a £30m deal with Man United for Harry Maguire as they look to strengthen their squad for the new season.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Man United rejected a £30m bid for McTominay with the club "valuing the 26-year-old at more than £40m".
BetVictor now say that there's an evens chance that the deal gets done for McTominay to join West Ham despite the club now agreeing a £30m deal for Southampton's James Ward-Prowse.
It's unclear if that Ward-Prowse deal is an addition to their interest in McTominay or if he is a replacement in the market.

The Hammers in for a number of players with Harry Maguire signing agreed
West Ham's £30m move for Harry Maguire on Wednesday shows that they are looking to move for players in the transfer market before the window shuts at the end of the month.
The Hammers have had the £105m they received for Declan Rice burning a hole in their pocket since he left and they're finally trying to sign players.
Maguire had originally turned down a move to West Ham but the lack of first-team football at Old Trafford would have affected his England place ahead of the Euros next summer.
Bookies offer odds on Top 6 finish this season with West Ham 13/2
There are plenty of betting markets ahead of the new season with one of them being around the race for the European spots at the end of the season.
David Moyes and his West Ham side will play in the Europa League this season after winning the Europa Conference League last season.
The Hammers are 13/2 to finish in the Top 6 this season and they'll be looking for a better domestic showing this campaign after putting all their eggs in one basket last year.
Bet365's latest betting odds have West Ham just behind Brighton and Aston Villa to finish in the Top 6 in the Premier League at the end of the season.
