Belfast the favourite for Best Film Ensemble at this year's SAG Awards

The coming-of-age Drama Belfast is the bookmakers favourite for the Best Film Ensemble at the Screen Actors Guild awards this year.

The Kenneth Branagh directed movie has received praised from film goers and critics alike, with the awards buzz growing around the film.

Best Film Ensemble Odds Probability
Belfast 8/11 57.9%
Coda 5/2 28.6%
Don't Look Up 5/1 16.7%
House Of Gucci 16/1 5.9%

Don't Look Up has been a surprise revelation in the awards circuit this year, with nominations flying around for the film including at the BAFTAs.

It's Belfast though which is looking to be the favourite in the majority of best film and ensemble categories across the board this year.

House Of Gucci is the outsider in this category with Adam Driver and Lady Gaga leading the way for the cast in that film.

Belfast leads the way for the Best Film Ensemble at the SAG Awards with bookies giving just 8/11 that it wins this category. Don't Look Up also features in the market, with Netflix looking to have a big winner in this years awards shows.

Will Smith leads the way in the Best Actor category at the awards

The Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award is given to the Actor who gives the best performance in a big motion picture.

Will Smith's role in the movie King Richard has had a whole host of plaudits from film buffs, who have said it is one of the major positives from the movie.

In the film, Smith plays the role of Richard Williams, the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams and explains the role he had in both his daughter's careers.

Andrew Garfield is second favourite in the odds for this category at 4/1 for his role in 'tick, tick... BOOM!', the musical directed by Lin Manuel Miranda.

British representation at the awards

There are many British Actors and Actresses who feature in the nominations at the SAG Awards this year.

Benedict Cumberbatch is 9/1 to win the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for his performance in The Power Of The Dog.

Olivia Colman is as short as 9/2 for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role award for her role in The Lost Daughter.

Belfast of course is a British film which explores life in the Northern Ireland capital.

British representation at this year's SAG awards is strong, with Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch both 9/2 and 9/1 respectively to win the top actor and actresses awards.
