USA remain favourites to get the most Gold Medals at the Summer Olympics

The 2024 Summer Olympic Games kicks off in Paris later this month and betting sites are now offering odds on which country will top the Gold Medal leaderboard at the end of the event this summer.

It's no surprise to see the USA top the betting market to win the most Gold Medals at the Olympics in Paris after previously topping the table in 7 of the last 8 Summer Olympics.

The latest betting market has the USA at 1/6 to win the most Gold Medals which has drifted slightly from the 1/10 that they were sitting at towards the backend of 2023.

Bet365's betting odds gives an implied probability of 85% that Team USA tops the Gold Medal tally with the country expected to have another dominant display once again at the Olympic Games.

Great Britain sit as 80/1 in the betting market

Great Britain will be hoping for a massive showing at the Olympics this time around with the short trip across the Channel looking to be a positive for their hopes this summer.

The latest market though gives Great Britain just a 1.2% chance of getting the most Gold Medals behind third favourites Japan at 66/1 to do so.

Great Britain finished in 4th place in the Gold Medal table at the last Olympic Games with Japan, China and the USA all finishing above them and the latest odds expect the same thing to happen again this summer.
