Cristian Stellini now 2/1 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked

Tottenham manager Cristian Stellini has been backed into 2/1 from 5/1 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked following Tottenham's 6-1 loss Newcastle on Sunday.

Spurs were 5-0 down after just 20 minutes in that game with fans leaving the ground when that 5th goal went in and there have already been calls for him to go.

That result instantly saw Stellini's odds drop from 5/1 to 2/1 with bookmakers shortening his odds right down to second favourite behind Steve Cooper in the market.

BetVictor's odds now give Stellini a 33% chance of leaving after that big defeat on Sunday with his chances last week at 16% according to the betting odds.

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper remains the betting favourite

Despite a brave display from Nottingham Forest away at Anfield on Saturday afternoon it's Forest boss Steve Cooper who remains the betting favourite to be sacked next.

Forest lost 3-2 to Liverpool at Anfield at the weekend where they came back to draw on two occasions before a Mo Salah winner in the 70th minute.

Cooper put the loss down to poor set piece defending and they'll need to switch that up massively with 11 games gone now without a win.
