Mark Chapman now 2/1 favourite to replace Gary Lineker as MOTD Presenter
With rumours circulating around Gary Lineker's potential departure from Match of the Day, betting odds are now given on who will be his replacement for the flagship BBC football show.
Mark Chapman is the 2/1 favourite to be Lineker's replacement with the current Match of the Day 2 presenter an easy choice to move up into the main show's role.
Chapman currently presents across the BBC on both television and radio for a variety of sporting action including the brand-new coverage of the UEFA Champions League on the channel this season.
The latest odds now suggest a 33.3% chance that he replaces Lineker next with Alex Scott and Gabby Logan following just behind him in the current market at 4/1 and 6/1 respectively.

Reports earlier this week say that email circulated around BBC around his departure
Fresh reports from the Daily Mail on Thursday claimed that an email had circulated round the BBC suggesting that bosses had been drawing up a statement around Gary Lineker's imminent departure from Match of the Day.
Earlier news rumours in September said that Lineker had offered to take a voluntary paycut to slash his salary to keep in the position as presenter of MOTD but these new reports suggest that might not be enough.
Those same reports from the MailOnline said that when approached for comment on Thursday, Lineker said, 'F*** off, I won't talk to you. Go away."
Alex Scott could step into Match of the Day role
Alex Scott is currently the BBC's main presenter for their coverage of Women's Football and it may well be that she is chosen as the successor to Lineker next.
Scott has stepped in as Lineker's replacement on the show before when he has missed it through other engagements and BBC bosses may well be impressed with how she handled the coverage.
The latest market says there's a 20% chance that Scott becomes the next MOTD presenter and it does look likely that it'll be one of her or Chapman who gets the role as an easy replacement for the BBC.
