  • Betting site are offering odds on who will be the last character shown on screen
  • Scott and Charlene are the favourites at evens and 11/10 repectively
  • Susan and Karl Kennedy are next best with bookies at 5/2
  • Most unlikely that Russel Crowe, Liam Hemsworth or Delta Goodrem will return
  • Just a 1% chance Margot Robbie will make a comeback

The long-running famous Australian soap opera is coming to an end and with it rumours of characters past and present potentially making a swansong appearance in the final episode are rife - So much so that betting sites like betway are offering odds on which character will be the last seen on screen.

There have been a swathe of Australian careers and stars created with a foot-up from the program. Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan are obvious, along with Harold Bishop and Madge, from the hey-days.

There is confidence from the bookies that Scott and Charlene will make a poignant return to Ramsay street for the final ever show of Neighbours when it comes to a close.

Charlene (Kylie Minogue) and Scott (Jason Donovan) are the favourites in the betting market and let's not forget the Kennedy's; Karl and Susan, the wholesome family on Ramsay Street.

The betting revolves around some of the biggest stars to have launched from the show, with Toadfish also in the market for good measure

Scott 11/10 47.62%
Karl Kennedy 5/2 28.57%
Susan Kennedy 5/2 28.57%
Harold Bishop 5/1 16.67%

Paul Robinson 10/1 9.09%
Josh Taylor 14/1 6.67%
Delta Goodrem 33/1 2.94%
Russel Crowe 66/1 1.49%
Margot Robbie 100/1 0.99%

Former Neighbours Stars that almost certainly wont appear

One thing to consider is there may be a huge group shot at the end of the program - Who bookmakers would pay out on in that scenario is anyone guess.

Whilst we may fondly remember a whole host of celebrities who appeared on Neighbours, there are a few forgotten faces who have gone onto much bigger things in Hollywood and are not so readily associated with the program as those at the head of the betting.

Betting sites are offering huge odds on superstars like Russel Crowe, Delta Goodrem and Margot Robbie making an unlikely return and to appear last in the final episode, as they were not the biggest names in the soaps history, and with all due respect have somewhat moved on.
Steve Madgwick - Entertainment Betting Specialist - OLBG.com

We don't imagine Russel Crowe will be there or Margot Robbie who spent three years on the soap will be making a comeback.

Unlikely too would a return for Liam Hemsworth, Holly Vallance, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem
