Miss Wisconsin Grace Stanke won the 2023 Miss America
2023's Miss America contest saw Miss Wisconsin Grace Stanke crowned as the winner, becoming the first Korean-American to be crowned Miss America in its history.
The 20-year-old became the pageant's 95th winner and the third woman from Wisconsin to win the title in the prestigious event last year.
Stanke's talent was her classical violin performance in which she won $2,500 and she also won the $50,000 scholarship for winning the overall Miss America crown.
When does Miss America 2024 take place?
Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will host the 2024 Miss America contest with the main event being held across the final shows on Saturday, January 13, and Sunday, January 14, 2024.
The contestants for the prize have to have a personal interview and also show off their talent, fitness and evening-wear with both Miss America and Miss America's Teen being awarded.
Miss America 2024 will be the 96th instalment of the pageant in its 102nd year and each contestant must be a resident or citizen of the United States.
