Kylie Minogue and Sam Ryder now joint favourites to perform in this year's John Lewis Christmas Advert
Excitement is ramping up for this year's John Lewis Christmas Advert with the latest in their field of ads potentially debuting in the next fortnight.
Since 2014 the John Lewis advert has released in the first or second week of November and according to the Radio Times we may see it on the 9th November.
Bookmakers continue to offer odds on who will perform the famous song in the advert this year with singers usually covering famous songs from the past.
Betway have moved Kylie Minogue and Sam Ryder into joint favourites at the top of the betting market at 7/2 with both singers given a 22% chance of performing this year.

Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective were the favourites up until last week
This year's Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective came from nowhere to the clear favourites at 5/2 to perform in the advert following that Mercury Prize win back in September.
They've since drifted well out to 20/1 to star in the advert after that period of hype after their Mercury Prize win has tailed off in the past fortnight.
Now there are other artists who have moved above them in the betting market including Tom Grennan and Stormzy who are both wildcard picks for the John Lewis advert.

Elton John drifts out to 7/1 to star in another John Lewis advert
Elton John was the early favourite to star in the John Lewis advert when the betting market opened in what would be a second appearance in their famous adverts for the singer.
John has previously been the star of the John Lewis advert back in 2018 where he received a piano in the advert as a Christmas present in the 50s which saw a story of the singer's life.
Following the 'Rocketman' singer's performance at Glastonbury earlier this year this saw him originally become the favourite for the John Lewis advert but he's out to 7/1 now for the ad.
