It was released on 12 February 2021 to coincide with Chinese New year and at the time of writing is the highest grossing film of 2021 at $822m and the second highest-grossing non-English film of all time and remains the strong favourite to top the charts with bookmakers in 2021
The film grossed $195m in it's first week of release compared with $163 achieved by F9 and the gap has continued to grow since.
