I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Macron's lead in the betting for the Presidency increases and now 65% likely to win
  • Marine Le Pens challenge has dropped from a 27% chance to just 8% according to bookies
  • Éric Zemmour's chance has risen from 4% to 17% in recent weeks
  • Macron expected to win 20-25% of the Vote share with betting sites

Emmanuel Macron's chance of winning the French presidential election in April next year looks to be getting more and more solid by the day of the bookmakers odds on his victory chance are anything to go by.

His chance has always been around odds of Evens, or a probability of 50% or so but in recent weeks, that has risen to 62.50% with bookmakers shortening his betting odds to odds on 4/6.

French Presidential Betting Odds

Candidate Odds Probability
Emmanuel Macron 1.60 62.50%
Éric Zemmour
8.2 12.20%
Marine Le Pen 12.0 8.33%
Michel Barnier
21 4.76%

His previous closest rival Marine Le Pen has dropped out of favour recently, having been the second favourite, he has dropped below Éric Zemmour as an 11/1 chance. His once 27% probability of landing the seat now reduced to just 12%.

Zemmour on the other hand has leap-frogged Le Pen whilst tripling his probability from just 4% to over 12% as of today - how that popularity continues to increase between now and April, we will have to wait and see

Macron's chance of winning the Election in April has done nothing but strengthen continuously as Le Pen has fallen away to be replaced by Eirs Zemmour whose probability has trebled from 4% to 12% in recent weeks.
