Odds given on Musk’s next company purchased with NFL franchise the 7/2 favourite
Businessman Elon Musk could be on the lookout for his next investment and bookies say that it will be an NFL franchise that he decides to purchase next.
Musk’s purchase of Twitter has proven to be a rollercoaster already with controversy around unbanning, paying for verification on the platform and much more already in the space of a couple of months being in charge.
The billionaire is 7/2 with Betway to buy an NFL Franchise next and it could well be something that Musk looks into doing next in his.
According to reports from Forbes the average cost to buy an NFL team would be $3.5b, so with Musk’s current net worth sitting at around $195b he could afford to buy every single NFL Franchise and still have change left over.
Bookies go 9/2 that Musk buys a Premier League club next with the businessman potentially looking for English investment
It’s 9/2 that Elon Musk buys a Premier League club as his next investment choice and it’s something that he has flirted with in the past on Twitter.
Back in August this year, Musk tweeted that he was buying Manchester United but since stated that he was just joking.
After one Twitter user asked if he was being serious Musk tweeted it was a long running joke and that he wouldn’t be buying any sports clubs.
It would be no surprise that Musk went against that word and spent his money on a franchise though.
The 1/9 odds offered on Trump to return to Twitter were proven right earlier this week as account reinstated
Former US President Donald Trump had his Twitter account reinstated earlier this week with Elon Musk running a poll on his account letting users vote on his return to the platform.
Yes won the poll with 51.8% of more that 15 million Twitter users voting for the ban to be lifted and Donald Trump to be back on Twitter.
Trump had his account banned on the platform due to risk of inciting violence just days after the 6th January storming of the US Capitol in Washington DC.
Bookies offered odds of just 1/9 that Trump would have his account back once Musk’s Twitter takeover was completed and that has come to fruition this week.
