Cristiano Ronaldo is now 8/15 to stay at Manchester United this transfer window

Cristiano Ronaldo is now 8/15 with bookmakers to stay at Manchester United this Summer drifting slightly from the 4/7 odds that they were at two weeks ago.

Ronaldo is at United's training ground Carrington today for conversations around his future with manager Erik ten Hag and Sir Alex Ferguson is also there.

Within the past week the odds have moved from 14/1 down to 7/4 for Ronaldo to go back to Madrid and join Real's city rivals Atleti with Paddy Power.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds Probability
Stay at Man Utd 8/15 65.2%
Atletico Madrid 7/4 36.4%
Bayern Munich 7/1 12.5%
Chelsea 10/1 9.1%

Chelsea have previously been 3/1 favourites to be a potential destination for Ronaldo but have since drifted well out in the market to 10/1.

This is after reports suggested that Thomas Tuchel was not interested in signing the player this window.

Atletico Madrid are 7/4 to be Ronaldo's next destination

Atletico Madrid are the 7/4 favourites if Cristiano Ronaldo was to leave Manchester United in this transfer window.

Atleti fans though have been opposing the transfer in recent weeks, with the hashtag #ContraCR7 (AgainstCR7) used on Twitter in protest against the move.

It looks like Ronaldo would be willing to go to Atletico though as all he wants to do is play Champions League football next season according to reports.

Ronaldo has never played in the Europa League in his career and that will likely change if he stayed at United this season with the club qualified for the competition.

More Man Utd specials available ahead of the new season

Just a fortnight ago, Betfair announced that United are the most backed team to win the Premier League on their site at odds of 25/1.

This came after United's 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool in their opening pre-season game a couple of weeks ago and it caused a surge in backers for the Reds to win the league.
