  • Adele set to release latest album '30' on November 19th and is 53% probable (5/6 odds) for Christmas Number 1
  • Lad Baby set to compete with Adele for the Number 1 spot
  • Adele has a 58% chance (8/11) to headline Glastonbury 2022

Adele set to release latest Album '30' on the 19th of November

The return of Adele has been hyped for the last year with the singer constantly hinting at new music on the way throughout the last 12 months.

Adele Adkins, 33, has always released her albums with titles based around the age that she either recorded or released them, so with latest album '30' coming out in November it's safe to say that she's been working on this for a few years.

Bookmakers are giving Adele a 75% chance (1/3) of a number 1 spot in the album chart.

You'd expect that to happen fairly easily, with last album 25 selling 800,000 in the UK alone on the first week of its release.

That album shifted more copies than the next 86 albums combined across that first week and it'd be no surprise if she goes and does that again.

Christmas Number One however could be tough for Adele, with none of us knowing if she will release a single on the week leading up to Christmas.

She may have songs from the album that do well in the charts and the first single from '25', Hello, remained at number one for 3 weeks from its release date.

Adele has a 54% chance of the Christmas Number 1, but it may come as a surprise that she's only ever had TWO Number 1 singles in the UK during her career.

Lad Baby expected to be there or thereabouts for Christmas Number 1

Lad Baby have done the hat-trick by having Christmas Number 1 for the last three years in a row and equaled The Beatles record of doing so consecutively.

The Beatles however have had a total of four Christmas Number One's and it would come as no surprise is Lad Baby were to set out to try and do so again and support charity Trussell Trust while doing so.

With bookies giving odds of EVENS for Lad Baby to be Christmas Number 1, it shows from a betting point of view that it'll be a tight affair come Christmas Day.

Lad Baby's latest effort, Don't Stop Me Eatin', got to number 1 just in front of classic All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey:

Adele odds on to headline Glastonbury next year

Glastonbury headliners are always a well spoken about subject and next years is no different after the coronavirus pandemic has seen the festival take the last two years off.

Billie Eilish was announced as the first headliner for the 2022 festival just last week, with the No Time To Die singer putting it up on her instagram that she was set to headline the latest edition of the famous event.

Adele has been added to the betting market with a 57% chance with her new single Easy On Me being released last Friday 15th October.

Other big names appear in the market to headline Glastonbury next year include Elton John and Aerosmith.

Kendrick Lemar and Taylor Swift were two of the names set to headline the since cancelled 2020 version of the festival, which was set to be the 50th anniversary.

Adele could be set to sneak into contention to headline 2022's Glastonbury Festival, six years on from her phenomenal headline set at Worthy Farm.
