Seattle Surge are 9/4 to win Major 4 of the Call of Duty League
The qualifiers for Major 4 of the Call of Duty League are set to get underway next weekend and there are odds for the final Major of the season.
Every big event in Call of Duty this year has had a different winner and that could well be the case in Major 4, but it's Seattle Surge who are the 9/4 favourites to win.
Surge are favourites with the bookies after winning Major 3 at the start of June.
CDL Major 4 Winners | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Seattle Surge | 9/4 | 30.8% |
Atlanta FaZe | 5/2 | 28.6% |
OpTic Texas | 11/4 | 26.7% |
Toronto Ultra | 4/1 | 25.0% |
Minnesota RØKKR | 10/1 | 9.1% |
New York Subliners | 16/1 | 5.9% |
Seattle Surge weren't even in the Top 6 teams in the betting market to win Champs back in our April story, but two months later they are up there as contenders.
The way in which this season's Call of Duty League is going looks to be that any team can beat any other team on their day.
OpTic Texas are 11/4 third favourites to win despite strong start to the game this year
OpTic Texas started the season off with a tough kick-off series but then won their home Major 1 in Texas.
Dashy, Shotzzy, iLLey and Scump have been cracked throughout this year's CoD, but since their Major 1 year have found it hard at the Major events.
This hasn't been helped by iLLey's injury which has seen him ruled out since the middle of May.
iLLey is one of the best players in the Call of Duty League so him being ruled out would harm any team, nevermind just OpTic Texas.
Major 4 will be held in New York and the New York Subliners are 16/1 to win
Major 4 is due to take place on the 14th July and will be held at the Kings Theatre in New York.
The New York Subliners have had a tough year so far with multiple roster changes but despite this they managed to win the Pro-Am Classic.
A poor showing at Major 3 though made Crimsix and co come crashing back down to earth and now they're 16/1 to win Major 4.
As it stands, the Subliners will not qualify for Champs which would be a major blow for a team with a whole host of talent on the roster.
