Rachel Woolford is the favourite to win this year's final of The Apprentice

This week sees the final of The Apprentice air on BBC One and we now have a new favourite to win the show with Rachel Woolford leading the way in OLBG's hypothetical market,

Woolford was one of two candidates put through to the final by Lord Sugar after last week's Interviews task which saw the remaining five grilled by Sugar's aides.

Despite losing in 9 out of the 11 tasks over the series, Phil Turner was also put through to the final by Lord Sugar as he commended for his business as a Pie company owner.

OLBG have looked at the potential odds for the winner of The Apprentice this year with a 60% chance that it's Rachel who is hired by Lord Sugar as his next Apprentice.

What the expert says...

Rachel Woolford is the new favourite to win this year's series of The Apprentice with the final fast approaching this week! Lord Sugar spoke highly of Rachel last week around her established track record in the fitness industry and this puts her ahead of Phil Turner in the race to be crowned the next Apprentice.

Former favourite Flo Edwards was one of three fired in last week's Interviews task

Flo Edwards had been favourite for a large spell of this year's Apprentice due to her impressive record week-by-week in the tasks but that all changed this week.

Flo was fired by Lord Sugar at the Interview stage due to her business lacking the appropriate financial structure that was needed for him to consider investing.

Lord Sugar's reasoning for firing Flo was given in last week's episode, saying, “Flo, I think you’ve underestimated the difficulty it’s going to be in starting from scratch. It is going to be hard".

18 candidates entered the process this year to be Lord Sugar's next business partner and now just two remain with Phil facing Rachel in the final.

With 15 candidates being fired by Lord Sugar over the past 11 week's we now look ahead to this Thursday to see who Sugar will choose as his business partner.

2017 saw Lord Sugar choose two winners in the final as he couldn't choose between Sarah Lynn and James White over who would go into business with him.
