Irish actor Cillian Murphy remains the clear favourite to win the Best Actor Oscar this weekend with bookmakers continuing to offer odds ahead of the event.
The 96th Academy Awards are set to take place this weekend and the Best Actor category is one of the biggest of the night alongside Best Actress and Best Picture.
Murphy has long been favourite for this category for his title role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in the biopic about the scientist that developed the atomic bomb during World War II.
William Hill's latest betting odds put Murphy as the heavy favourite at 1/12 to win the Academy Award with the category looking like a straightforward one.

When do the 2024 Oscars take place?
The 2024 Academy Awards are set to take place this weekend on Sunday 10 March, kicking off at 11pm GMT.
