Turnover x300?

Postby ghotiing » Thu Dec 19, 2013 2:39 am

Hi,

I just got a bonus of 5 Euro via email-invite from Paddy Power's Live Casino. I had a look at the t&c which state that the this bonus has to be rolled over 300 times before it can be released. What's more, bets on Blackjack, Baccarat or Hold 'Em only count 20%. Also, it's a bonus that is valid for only 3 days. Has anybody ever seen anything worse?

Cheers,

ghotiing (who is certainly not interested in this bonus)

That's pretty bad, i once got a free tenner from bet365 that had a rollover of 200 times, thats a whopping £2,000 to be played before withdrawing any winnings.

Yeh right, i am gonna fall for that one

Gala's V.I.P. offer comes close. A 50% ( used to be 200% !) bonus on top of deposit.

Only x20 before able to withdraw anything but Blackjack only counted as 10% , Roulette 20% and some games were worth only 5%.

Not only was there a 7 day time limit but stakes were limited to ensure you didn't strike lucky and get through the bonus with a profit.

If they were the terms offered to V.I.P. members by invitation what do the rank and file get offered.

Presumably they think V.I.P. stands for Very Inexperienced Plonkers !

After I had written my posting I realised that I should take the bonus and completely bet it on a number. If the bet loses, no harm done; for the off chance the bet wins, I've got 180 Euro which I only have to roll over about 8.3 times, which should totally be doable. So I went and tried that - turned out I couldn't even open the Live Casino, since I would have needed Flash player 13 which isn't supported in the Linux world I live in. Well, probably no loss... :D

Speaking of Casinos and such... I usually do the "stake 10, get 10" promos that William Hill Bingo offers on their slots, even though the rollover requirement to release the bonus were increased from x10 to x20. On average the loss from the staked real money should be small, but if you actually mange to meet the rollover requirement, the profit is usually healthy. Anyway, I did a similar offer yesterday and was trying to turn over my bonus, when this happened:

Hitting the max win is probably a once in a lifetime event, so I can cross this off from my bucket list...
