If you bet on the straight win market, then maybe you might want to look at the win and over 1.5 goals market, which offers slightly better odds

Ladbrokes on the high street offer this bet on a coupon, they offer slightly better prices than just the straight win.

In this blog i am looking at Premier League & Championship teams that you could follow towards the end of the season to make a decent profit.

I will show example of some of the difference in prices, between the team to win price and the team to win with over 1.5 goals (Ladbrokes have a coupon in their shops), then in the blog i will look at each team and how they have won the games they have won, to see if any teams stick out as a probable winner for this type of bet.

Examples are as follows -

There are 3 games in League 1 on Tuesday and 2 games in League 2, i will use those games for examples (Using Stan James prices

Coventry City v Port Vale
Oxford United v Bolton Wanderers
Rochdale v Millwall
Morecambe v Accrington Stanley
Newport County v Luton Town

Coventry City v Port Vale
Coventry 6/5, Port Vale 5/2, Draw 23/10
Coventry (Ov 1.5) 13/8, Port Vale (Ov 1.5) 7/2, Draw (Ov 1.5) 10/3

Oxford United v Bolton Wanderers
Oxford 8/5, Bolton 9/5, Draw 23/10
Oxford (Ov 1.5) 9/4, Bolton (Ov 1.5) 13/5, Draw (Ov 1.5) 10/3

Rochdale v Millwall
Rochdale 13/8, Millwall 13/8, Draw 12/5
Rochdale (Ov 1.5) 11/5, Millwall (Ov 1.5) 9/4, Draw (Ov 1.5) 3/1

Morecambe v Accrington Stanley
Morecambe 5/2, Accrington 11/10, Draw 12/5
Morecambe (Ov 1.5) 7/2, Accrington (Ov 1.5) 8/5, Draw (Ov 1.5) 10/3

Newport County v Luton Town
Newport 14/5, Luton 1/1, Draw 5/2
Newport (Ov 1.5) 17/4, Luton (Ov 1.5) 6/4, Draw (Ov 1.5) 7/2

If you do a normal double on Accrington & Luton, you will get 3.2/1 for your bet, whereas if you take them both on the Over 1.5 goals market, you will get 11/2 for your bet

Now, let's look at how each team has done so far this season, i will start with the Premier League, followed by the Championship.
