The Woodbine Racetrack Guide

The Woodbine Racetrack is located in Toronto, Ontario. This track was opened in 1956 and hosts the Queen's Plate, the oldest running race to take place in North America.

The racetrack is also the only one outside of the US to host the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

The Tapeta track is a one-mile oval that has a 975 ft run-in. Also, harness racing is staged here, and a seven-furlong inner track is where that takes place.

The turf track here is unusual for US Racing as it is not an oval; the one-mile and four-furlong circuit contains an additional straight. The run-in on the turf course is just over two furlongs.

Racing takes place from April through to December, with racing four days a week. For that reason, you can catch Woodbine racing on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
