Although finishing 2nd in his last three races, he has not been beaten far and has finished well in all of them, including the last two over 7f when ridden by Christophe Soumillon. The firm going should not be a problem.

The re-opposing Gstaad was second that day, beating today’s selection by 2½ lengths. He set some strong early fractions but was unable to hold off the field in a race that was the second-fastest on record. He has since had one run, winning a 6f allowance race at Keeneland. He was drawn 7 of 7 that day and was held wide around the bend in a race where he was held just off the pace. Today’s task will demand much more but he clocked a respectable time (1m 11.26s) in what was an evenly run race. The draw is much kinder today, with stall 3 leaving him much better placed than the pre-race favourite who is drawn 14 of 15. This Wesley Ward trained colt is likely to be right on the pace early. He has question marks over his stamina but could be much better placed than his main market rivals, who are drawn in the outer half of the field.

Took a big step forward when tried over this trip, winning a G1 at Woodbine. Runner-up that day was one of Charlie Appleby's, which would leave him a little to find with the likes of Gstaad, but he is proven over this trip and has a much kinder draw.

Promising HEY NAY NAY is a genuine contender despite the awkward draw, after beating Plutarch in the Grade 2 Juvenile Turf Stakes here 8 weeks ago. He has won once in one run (100%) over 1 mile, at the track & on firm ground. One to watch.

HEEERE'S JOHNNY should go well from an ideal draw, after finishing a close 2nd to Bottas in the Grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont At The Big A 4 weeks ago. Jockey Javier Castellano has placed twice in two rides (100%) when aboard. One to watch.

dylan brown mconagle is having a terrific time of it having banged in several notable winners this year and the j o;brien trained NORTH COAST would be a popular winner amongst the irish contingent travelling over. although a tad disappointing on latest run at the curragh he has shown very good form previously that makes 20/1 seem a tad generous

There are only a few tracks that I bet at in America, and this trainer is one that I follow. As this is his only runner here and is the last race of the Friday meeting, I had to get this one E/W at 66/1. Both the trainer and jockey (usually rides for H. Motion and Bob Baffert) are getting plenty of winners and now combining could get a good winner at a massive price. He finished behind Batted and Heeere's Johnny last time but was drawn in 11, and from 5 here is much better drawn and could reverse those places and reach a place.
