The Canterbury Park Racetrack Guide
Opened in June of 1985, the Canterbury Park racetrack is located in Shakopee, Minnesota and was formerly known as Canterbury Downs.
The racecourse features around seventy race days during the year with meetings taking place between May and September, those meetings are usually on Thursdays through Sundays.
The dirt track is a one-mile oval (1,600m) which features two chutes whilst the turf track is a 7f oval (1,400m) which also features a chute.
