He clocked a clear peak two starts back when scoring over 6f on Newcastle's all weather track, and backed it up when close fourth, last time out. He's proven over 6f/7f on the all weather, arrives from a yard in form. His current mark is still workable for a new stable in a Class 6 where several rivals need to rebound from poor results. If he can repeat his recent Newcastle figure, he should do well.

Nacho Nacho Nacho might be capable of running a big race here. The selection was third and not beaten all that far over course and distance last time and has only had six starts so far, so might well improve again.

A very open basement sprint handicap where Gundogan appeals at a big looking 12/1. He ran a cracker last time after a little break and will be spot on here. He has dropped to a good mark and was competing in better class races a few runs back.

Brittain's training his horses on course by the looks of things. He just keeps bringing them to the races and seeing what happens. Bellagio Man has won his last two races. He's never done that before. He doesn't have much liking for this course either, apart from winning here once back in 2023. It's a pure lottery for the sake of it. Have fun!

Portoro has a good record here with one win and three places in four races. The win came over 7 furlongs here back in February 2025 but has been placed over course and distance when 3rd here in December 2024. Third of seven when last seen on the flat at Leicester on penultimate start and comes here fit after racing over 2 miles in a hurdles race at Fakenham last month.

Sovereign Knight was a good second at Wolverhampton last August in a C5 off a 69. While a bit down the pack for all runs since, he has now dropped to a 65 in C6 with a good draw and could be ready to go again. He should find this a tad easier than the last visit here in a C4 Racing League event with a return of P J McDonald to the saddle. EW 4P.

Orbital Chime went very close indeed last time when denied by a head in a class 5 14-runner at Newcastle, staying on well over five furlongs. Spirit Of Applause, in third, should have boosted the form next time but met trouble in running. Orbital Chime remains on a fair mark and a reproduction of that run would give him a shot at this lower grade race.

Well handicapped here, dropped to 62. His best run on the penultimate start, he probably ran to a mark of 68-70, so looks like a strong each way bet here.

A winner here at this meeting on the penultimate run but not up to the task in a better race at a higher weight thereafter. Calmer waters now, still with weight but in a winnable position.
