Lady Chartwell is another 3yo filly trained by Charlie Johnston and ridden by Joe Fanning. She is 1/10 wins, picking up a race at Chester off 74 and runs off top weight today off a 6lb higher mark. She has finished 2/6 off 82 at Chester, having not got the clearest of runs behind previous last time out winner Patagonia Girl. She comes here in fair form, having run well at Goodwood in a class 2 handicap over today's trip, finishing 8/14 beaten just 2.5l despite taking a keen hold. If Lady Chartwell manages to get some cover on the rails in behind the pace, she could pick up the pieces on the run-in.

Yellow Card is in stall 2 with trainer Mickey Bowen and jockey Billy Loughnane. He is a consistent performer, winning well over 12f here three starts back and running a solid race when slightly outpaced last time out over 14f. Effective between 10-12f on similar going, which should suit him today. He should be prominent and is likely to settle just off the pace before making his pounce.

This ex Irish filly makes her handicap debut here, for a yard that had a winner yesterday after quite a few runners without one. Maybe that is the sign that they are finding form again. She looks a value bet to prosper in this.
