Stayed on inside the final furlong when 4th of 12, beaten 2 lengths, in a Class 3 at Doncaster last time out. Remains on the same mark and eased in grade to Class 4, with possible improvement to come on second start for new yard.

Should be spot on for this after last month's creditable run at Doncaster. Had a successful 2025 campaign, winning five times, including over C&D.

FINANCER was 2nd in this race last year off 2lb higher than he goes off today, and given that was his seasonal return the same as today, there's good reason to think he will go well. His record at Ripon currently reads -323- all runs over this trip on varying grounds, showcasing his adaptability. He did have an up and down 2025, failing to get his head in front, but going close on plenty of occasions and still putting in some creditable efforts in defeat, most notably when 2nd of 9 at Windsor back in August (4 starts back). That was a class 2 handicap over similar trip to today, and although he had been turned out quickly that occasion, he was only caught late on. A repeat of his best puts him right in amongst them, and whilst there are question marks around his overall consistency, his form around here and the strong pace he should have to aim at will all be beneficial today.
