Running on the wrong part of the track last time out, so had no chance in what was a much better race than this. Good effort at Goodwood the race before and shouldn't be far away, 3 lbs lower.

He is in a class 4 handicap over 5f on good going. He finished 7th of 18 runners last time out in a class 3 handicap over 5f on good going at York under today's jockey when beaten 3 lengths. He is in decent form and rarely gets beaten by far. Has a good e/w shout in this race today.

HK FOURTEEN comes into this contest 7lb higher than his highest winning mark but is in good form after winning a similar class contest off 74 at Bath last month. Blind Beggar and Gold Star Hero have won off marks higher than 74, but I still see my selection as a solid each-way shot.

Won on penultimate start before disappointing on follow-up bid last time. Still well in on his old form, winning a year ago from 2 lb higher. Should go close, especially with rain about.

Parisiac (IRE) is a 6-year-old gelding by Kodiac out of Colgin, trained by Iain Jardine and set to be ridden by J. P. Spencer. He’s running off an official rating of 76, and comes into this off a strong second at Musselburgh over 5f earlier in October ??' showing he’s still in form and well-handicapped. He’s not been in front often but consistently hits the frame and seems to handle big fields and fast turf without losing his stride. With the drop back over a sharp 5f at Newmarket, the pace should suit his late speed, and if Spencer can get him into a rhythm early, Parisiac looks a very solid each-way contender??'one that could sneak into the places if the race plays out with a genuine gallop. If the rain continues to fall today it shouldn't be a problem for Parisiac in this field.

Kept on well when runner-up over this trip at Yarmouth 10 days ago. Drops 2 pounds in the ratings and wears a first-time visor.

Parisiac is worth a second look but has it to do turning the form with Vince L'Armour. So, I think it might be worth siding with this Michael Bell runner. If getting an early lead, it will be hard to peg back.

i think BLIND BEGGAR will be much more at home over this c&d than on latest 6f run when down the field , very capable on a going day as shown when winning a 5f at sandown in july

Going should suit a lot better, having had a few disappointing efforts in heavy and softer conditions. Decent over this distance and worth an each-way look.

Did not do much in her first foray in handicaps but has a good pedigree and can't be dismissed. Mark unchanged, but jockey has been in good form here.
