All of Hunter Legend's wins have come on soft or heavy ground, so he will not mind a bit more rain falling at Newbury before racing. Although the handicapper pushed him up 18 pounds last season after three wins, he still looked competitive last time at Cheltenham, and he has dropped back a pound.
