Made his fourth and final start as a two-year-old a winning one in a 1m Brighton novice in October. After six months off, having been gelded, he was not disgraced when finishing fifth of seven, beaten around four lengths, on his handicap debut at Southwell in April. He shaped better when third at Windsor, and the way he went through that race suggests this slight step up in trip should suit.

Ran well here earlier in the season when 2nd to Suddenly I See. Shaping like this; an extra furlong would suit. Same mark when 6th LTO at Sandown when not getting the clearest of runs.

Had a successful two-year-old campaign and continued that in his first two starts as a three-year-old. Having won on his return, he was a very close third over an extended mile trip at Haydock next time and followed that up with a creditable effort at Chester. He wasn't in quite the same form at Goodwood in a better race last time, but this looks easier, so ignore him at your peril.

Evening Blues can go well for the Stephen Hanlon yard. Evening Blues ran well last season and had a good run at Wetherby to start this season. It can go well today with that race to build on.
