6-time winner Double Time has hit form recently. He won at Windsor in July and showed he remained on a good mark when winning at Kempton last month off 65. He did win at Goodwood last year off 79, so is still 9 lbs lower off today's mark of 70. He has a good chance of going in again.

Dwindling Funds has been flying this season and has 6 wins. Those came in quite quick succession, as did the penalties, so last time's loss is still respectable when taking that into account, as well as the last race being a field of 15 and still finishing 6th. This is a smaller field and won't be as chaotic. It's a grade down and following a better break. Any ground suits.

The 4-year-old has run to a decent level in three of his last four starts, including four weeks ago on a return to slow ground, only outpaced very late on. Down to an attractive mark now. His previous slow ground run came during June. He was a very close 3rd of 16 that day against rivals rated 80-85, now facing rivals rated 57-73 and is 7lb better off at the weights.

Is the handicapper catching up with some of the more fancied selections? Bint Al Karma is racing off a featherweight and is slowly coming to form. Dropped 16 lb in ratings since the turn of the year. He finished 6 lengths behind Triple Force last time out, who was dropping in class having won a class 4 previously.
