Today he comes here in no form whatsoever for a trainer who has just announced his retirement at the end of the year after picking up 147 winners. He was seen on television stating it would be nice to reach the 150 mark. It's a sentimental selection, but Lawmans Blis is capable on the AW surface and showed some spark as recently as January 6, when finishing 2/11 in a Classified Stakes at Southwell. He's also only had two spins around Lingfield in his career and was withdrawn from an entry at Southwell yesterday to come here instead.
