Their latest race saw them denied by a head in a class three race at Epsom in August. Having been given time to recover and only a three-pound rise to contend with, there is every chance Aurora Majesty will once again be involved in the finish.

Lakers has just his 2nd start here for a yard I like that is in form, and the owners have some very decent horses. The run in a class 2 last time out was promising, and he'll strip fitter here after blowing up a little in that race. It should be all systems go now with the reliable David Egan now booked, and there's a line through Zayer in a novice race which suggests he has a few pounds in hand of his current mark (as would his win from Cyclonite for his previous stable).
