Course winner Holy Fire arrives in good form after winning last time out. He still gets to race off a fair mark in company, which he is more than capable of winning against.

Runner-up over course and distance on penultimate start, beat a length over 9.5 furlongs at Wolverhampton last time out and the winner of that race, Mr Nugget, won at Southwell last night to boost the form. The drop back to a mile will suit.

A very open-looking handicap, as the betting market suggests. This one is a previous C/D winner off the same mark as today's, and with four places on offer looks very good each-way value to me.

Had a very good 2024/25 season @ this level Turf/Aw and going to be all the better for comeback run @ Lingfield. Is still a bit high in the weights for that success but mark is now coming down, is a C,D winner and very good jockey/trainer combination makes current 22/1 decent Ew value here.

Miss Chester won a maiden over seven furlongs here back in May. She has really struggled in handicaps since. Still, there is some hope she will come on for her recent outing here, which will have blown away a few cobwebs. Interesting jockey booking in Hollie Doyle.
