Klub De Reve's last race was very impressive, and I rate this horse to go well. This renewal of the Dovecote evidently draws the eye to the JP horse here, but I can't ignore what Klub De Reve has done to date, and it gets my vote here.

With four places on offer this looks the proverbial each-way bet to nothing. Won his only bumper run very nicely and then looked set to win on his hurdles bow, but Harry Skelton didn’t really ask the question. That run was clearly all about experience and fitness. He converted an easy opening down in grade to take a maiden hurdle at Huntingdon by 11 lengths last time out. Surely there is more to come for a top yard and an obvious chance back up in grade.

Onlyforfrankie has won his last two hurdle races, showing improvement last time when beating the odds on Mossy Fen Road at Musselburgh. He was held up and took advantage of the fall of Captain Hugo, who had looked to challenge Mossy Fen Road first when falling two out. Onlyforfrankie then took up the challenge and went away on the run-in.

Kocktail Bleu will appreciate the return to better ground after struggling on the bottomless Kelso last time. That was just eight days ago. He has run here well before, and the 6yo, who has shown plenty of promise, could return to his best today. The price offers some value, he does.

Point-and-bumper winner who has improved in each of three hurdles starts and won at Hereford last time. Further improvement likely and holds an each-way chance.

This one won easily last time out when making all with the same jockey on board. A good value each-way bet for the four places available.

Tom ellis must be very excited about DESERTMORE NEWS ,this gelding only cost 10 grand but a bold display on debut produced a n eye-catching easy win. Will need more here and lack of experience is a worry but at the price I have to have a good bet

This horse made his hurdles debut in this race last season, finishing 4th. He ran OK last time out at Newbury, and if settling better can hit the frame at an attractive price.

A new Hurdle recruit for Olly Murphy. He travelled well for a long way in his last bumper, finishing behind the subsequently smart Ballyfad, who has progressed to be a 147-rated hurdler since that effort in November. Not seen since that run, he is fairly lobbed in here into a Grade 2 first time up. So, whilst it would be some ask, there doesn’t appear to be an obvious out-and-out standout superstar in here. His price entices as a result of that latest effort, although I’d have a slight reluctance about him being switched off too far off the pace based on his latest two efforts. For EW purposes I think he rates a bet all the same.
