Big Boy Barney arrives in solid form after breaking through for a chase win at Huntingdon and following it up with a respectable third in stronger company. That recent success should have boosted confidence, and he appears to be improving over fences. His current form profile is more reliable than many at this level. If he continues progressing in staying chase company, he looks capable of adding another victory soon.

Koapey fell in the race won by re-opposing rival Pep Talking just under four weeks ago. Was given that rival 8 lbs and now has a 9 lb swing. If getting their jumping together with the assistance of champion jockey Sean Bowen, could well be in the mix to get back to winning ways here.
