Made a highly encouraging debut at York, traveling strongly and only caught in the final strides. Strong debut, expected to improve.

DICTAL has been placed in one race from two starts, third over 6f at Newbury on her latest outing earlier this month. She is wearing a tongue tie for the first time today. Upped in trip to 7f should suit and could well be able to win this race.

Ran a very good race on debut run as they were green in running and denied a clear run, when coming 2/9 beaten 2.25 lengths in a class 4 novice over 6f @ Newbury. Entitled to come on for that run/experience, step up to this 7f will suit on nice pedigree, good jockey up and in hands of a top trainer, making current 14/1 solid Ew value here.

Shaped with promise on debut and likely to come on for the run. Buick retains the ride, and the Johnston team knows how to win at Goodwood. Could be very competitive at a decent price.

By Camelot, which means she will love this heavy ground. Makes debut here. Well worth backing each way on this ground.

Tryst hasn't run yet, so is taken on trust but looks to have ideal conditions for a big run. A Highclere 2yo purchase by Arc winner Sottsass out of an unraced mare but related to siblings that won races on debut. Will get further in time, but seven furlongs should suit for now. George Boughey and in-form Billy Loughnane (SR 26%) are decent connections.

Debut didn't really go to plan and seemed a little green, but i'm hoping that experience will improve her today. Not an easy race to predict and is worth taking a chance ew on a bigger price.

Debutant from a capable yard and nicely drawn. Market may be overlooking this one, and with Rob Hornby up, it wouldn't be a shock to see a bold show at 33/1+.

There are many debutantes, and I think one who could win is the Invincible Spirit progeny, Mythical Night, as they generally show early in their careers. This could give the South African trainer Dylan Cunha some exposure.
