This yard's Fair Flat winner has been unstoppable, boasting a perfect 4-4 record since transitioning to hurdles. His most recent victory was a Grade 2 race on soft ground here last month, even with a 7 lb penalty. There's no reason to believe he won't continue his flawless streak over jumps.

There was a lot to like about Minella Study's win in the Wensleydale when beating Amess. It will give favourite One Horse Town, who won here last month, plenty to think about.

Cinnamon Coco is a 3yo gelding trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien. He has run four times over hurdles and been sent off favourite in all, so is clearly highly regarded, winning once at Down Royal by 9.5l on his third start and looked one to note. He disappointed at Punchestown after taking a fierce hold, which led to his demise. He's since run on the flat and won going away at Dundalk with the 154-rated hurdler Ballyadam back in third. Cinnamon Coco possesses plenty of speed, which is no surprise being out of an unraced dam related to four individual winners who all recorded RPRs of 100+ while competing in and winning pattern races. This suggests Cinnamon Coco will probably benefit from this step up in grade and the likely fast pace, which will enable him to travel kindly on the bridle. He comes here after his win at Dundalk just 17 days ago and will be primed and ready to resume winning ways for top connections in the shape of Simon Munir & Isaac Souede.

The Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March is dominated by French-bred juveniles, as they have dominated these types of contests in recent years. Ten of the last 14 winners of this corresponding contest being French-bred also illustrates their dominance. Macshadow Des Crai is French-bred and is 50-1 for the Triumph Hurdle. He makes his debut on UK shores for Nicky Henderson, a trainer with a remarkable record with 3yo juveniles ??' 34/85 wins since 2012 and 20/34 wins with 3yo making their debut (in the UK). There is every reason to believe Macshadow Des Crai is going to be useful. Priced up at 15-2 in receipt of 7 lb from his main market rivals Minella Study and One Horse Show, he looks very attractive at 15-2. It wouldn't be a surprise if there was a flurry of money for Macshadow Des Crai come post time and he potentially challenges for second favourite and becomes One Horse Show's biggest market rival. Put in an RFC with Cinnamon Coco, the Irish raider who is likely to prove a major threat.

Second start after initial spin over hurdles 48 days ago, and sure to have come on for that. Ran to a useful level on the Flat and can go well at a price.

There's obviously a lot of guesswork here, with not much in the way of form to go on. But on breeding this one sticks out as being easily in the top three or four best bred in the race, and the 33/1 could well be the each-way value despite being easily beaten last time out. The winner of that race was then only just touched off in a Listed hurdle. Wolf Rayet was putting his best work in late in that race too, and he could step up massively on that effort with a first-time tongue tie. The softer ground should also suit, and he looks overpriced where the more fancied runners have a few doubts against some of them.
