Stoneyford Lady has been placed in two races from nine starts. Second in a hurdle race over 2m at Tramore on her latest outing earlier this month. Over fences today, course distance and going should suit, and she could well be able to go one better and win this race.

Had shown gradual improvement in three novice events and improved again on his handicap debut at Galway when a close 3rd off a mark of 99 but was slightly below that form back there next time when a bit too keen. Eased slightly by the handicapper before his latest run at Punchestown and got back on track in finishing a close up 3rd of 17 over two miles. Goes chasing now and worth a second look.

This one is a fair hurdler, winning once over 17f since sent into handicaps and up in trip. She ran a useful 2nd on chase debut over 20.4f on yielding last time, beaten 1.75L with 6L back to the 3rd. Drops in trip to 18f, but if chasing is her game, she could follow up with a win.

Warrants a look given cracking stable form, and this race lacks depth. She's a former pointer, bred for fences, and after showing glimpses over hurdles, could step up considerably over the larger obstacles.

E. D. Delany and owner Mrs. Diane Flanagan must believe their mare has substance to be taking part in a graded race at Roscommon with her first run over fences. She was last of six, earning €400 for the outing by being sixth. It's a beginners chase in a field that comprises average runners, which may see the Court Cave-sired mare being more competitive than her price expresses her chances.

This horse is priced at 19.00, which seems to completely ignore its form from three starts back. The form line reads ...P4-425. That second-place finish ('2') is strong form, better than many in this race. If it can recapture that effort, it is a huge danger at massive odds. Interesting outsider.
