I personally think Kala Conti is a value play here. Disappoiting at Sandown when second to a top performance from Sixmilebridge, however didn't jump fluently and never really got going, especially when being denied the inside rail on the run to home. LTO at Aintree, Jack Kennedy never looked worried being at the back of the pack, and the pair were jumping and gaining ground nicely before a bad fall. She was certainly travelling better than Salvator Mundi in that race, who went on to win at Punchestown yesterday at similar odds. Prior to this, she has comftably beaten top horses over fences including Jade de Grugy and Arkle winner, Kargese. I think she'll benefit from having mares like Dino Blue in the race who will set a good pace. So much ability, hopefully goes her way tomorrow. Win bet.
