Edward Crowley’s 7-year-old gelding CATCH THE BEAST looks intriguing here off the back of a decent enough run in much deeper company 52 days ago at Naas in Listed company when finishing 6th, which considering this was coming off a 245-day layoff, I was impressed enough to take notice. This son of WALK IN THE PARK should feel much more comfortable at this level after all. This lad won this very contest very comfortably in 2023 by 10 lengths & now with a tune-up in the bank I don’t think you could write him off completely especially at odds of 25/1. Jockey Phillip Byrnes takes the reins again & will be hoping lightning can strike twice.
