Themanintheboots looks like an ideal opportunity here. His Navan seventh last time did plenty of donkey work up front in a race where the pace just collapsed on him, leaving him very vulnerable late. But he'd won a Navan hurdle prior to that and was a staying-on third in a strong handicap before. The blinkers stay on, and James Smith’s 5 lb claim off 106 looks like a good angle here in what looks an open race.
