Happy Valley Racecourse Guide
The Happy Valley racecourse is situated in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong, first opened way back in 1845, the racecourse is just one of two in Hong Kong, Sha Tin is the other.
The racetrack was created to serve the British people who were living in Hong Kong but soon became a favourite for the growing popularity of the Chinese people.
The racecourse features just a turf track, there are small chutes for 5f and 6f races but there are no races over the straight at the racetrack.
With a seven-storey grandstand, the capacity of the racetrack is around about 55,000. There are also football, rugby and hockey fields within the complex.

- 1650m (extended 8f)
