10th and 13th the last two years at the Qatar Masters, and the Englishman ticks a lot of boxes this week in Doha. 34th last week in Bahrain, and I fancy Sam Bairstow will put four good rounds together to contend in Qatar for a third year running.

47th last week in Bahrain, and the Scandinavian played better than his finish suggested. Jacob Skov Olesen has played well in the wind before and featured around Royal Portrush last summer. I fancy he will put a good week together at the Qatar Masters.

Nathan Kimsey. I'm giving a chance after last week's 9th-place finish and fancy him to build on that, especially after some good performances here.

He played well two out of the last three weeks and was challenging in round one last week before tailing off, so I'm hoping he will be more consistent here across four rounds.

Best performance in his last four tournaments was a 9th in the Mauritius Open. Tournament form here is worth noting: he finished 3rd in both 2023 and 2024, just two shots off both times.

This is a tricky course with its undulating greens where accurate approach shots and strong putting are essential. Good matches for this course are the Alfred Dunhill Links and the Abu Dhabi Championship. Sterne came a solid T12 (-19) in Abu Dhabi last year and T3 at the Alfred Dunhill. I think this course should suit him, and as a six-time DP Tour winner he looks worth a punt at these odds.

This is far-fetched, but he was the 2013 champion and seems a really big price. I'm more in hope for a place than a win here.
