Boeing Classic Tips

Stewart Cink has one win on the Champions Tour this year. He is close to getting another one. In the last two appearances, he played very well and finished 2nd and 3rd.

Not a bad effort last year when 18th, where mistakes potentially made all the difference to previous performances. Was 2nd here in 2023, and that was off the back of a tournament win the year prior on fifteen under. Has already won four tournaments this year, hence the shorter price.

Soren isn't too far behind the current favourite based on his overall form, can't be overlooked in this very open looking event. Soren usually shows his best sort of form at courses that are similar to today's course.

Justin Leonard had a great UK Open, finishing T59, and then finished T2 at Sunningdale, three behind Padraig Harrington in the Seniors Open. Each way chance.

Open looking Boeing Classic event this is, many arrive with genuine looking chances and Y E Yang is one with a chance. Playing well in his recent events , long and short game looking good and his good short game should be a factor on this particular course.

The Canadian is chasing a hat trick of Boeing Classic titles on the Champions Tour circuit, and I fancy he won't be too far away this week. The last two years, Stephen Ames has won around The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, and I am siding with the defending champion going really close on a course he clearly loves playing.

Two top twenty finishes sandwich a 3rd place finish back in 2023 here. Too many mistakes in the 2022 reboot probably cost him a similar high finish on that occasion. He was in good form between February and April, and one round cost him another high finish last week. Consistency will make Choi a big threat here.

The American may have been 31st in the Senior Open Championship but closed with a good round on Sunday. 9th at the US Senior Open and 6th at the Kaulig Companies Championship, I fancy Tim Petrovic could fly under the radar this week to challenge at the Boeing Classic.
