Partick v St Johnstone Tips

They just about got over the line against bottom side Ross County last time out, and they are doing just enough in the final stages of the season to see them through. Partick will bring the game to them, so this could be a lively game and could well include goals, but I don't think there will be three.

The big derby of the Scottish Championship is played tonight at Firhill, where leaders St Johnstone visit second-placed Partick Thistle. The visitors from Perth have an eight-point advantage, but also a game in hand, so a home triumph would further complicate the title race. St Johnstone are in great form with three consecutive wins, while Partick have only won once in their last four matches, a last-gasp goal against Morton. All three of their duels this season have seen goals from both sides and over 2.5 goals, and an average of 13 corners per match suggests that a dynamic encounter is expected tonight.
