  Jannick Sinner has won his last six meetings with Alexander Zverev in straight sets. In these matches, Zverev has not broken the Sinner serve and only had three break points in the last four contests. Whilst these took place on hard and clay courts, Jannick is historically the more comfortable on grass and won his first Wimbledon Championships last year, following two quarters and a semi-final appearance in his three previous showings at SW19. He's reached the final in 2026 on the back of five straight sets wins, which included a 6-4,6-4,6-4 win over Novak Djokovic on Friday where he had only one break point to save. Zverev has also impressed with his serve this year and has only been broken a handful of times in six matches. Winning his first major title at Roland Garros last month has improved his confidence at Wimbledon, where in nine previous appearances he had not progressed beyond the fourth round. Given the second seed's current form, I would expect a closer game with the World No.1 than we have seen recently. However, I believe Sinner should win and extend his total winning streak over Zverev to ten matches.
