In their respective opening qualifying group games, Switzerland scored four goals without reply against Kosovo, whilst Slovenia drew against Sweden with each side scoring a goal. It's been nearly ten years since these two teams last met, which saw a win for Switzerland. Switzerland have won their last two home games, scoring seven goals and only conceding once. Another solid defensive display for the Swiss could see them get the win as they appear to be in decent scoring form.

In the qualifying table, Romania sit third on six points, whilst Cyprus are one place lower on four points after both teams have played four games. For either side to keep their World Cup ambitions alive, a win is essential. The last three meetings between these two sides have all been won by Romania, and in two of them, they kept a clean sheet. With Romania averaging two goals a game and only conceding one, another win appears likely.

Following their away defeat at Liverpool, Arsenal have an excellent chance to get back to winning ways when they welcome Nottingham Forest, who lost their last game at home to West Ham. Arsenal won this fixture last season, and there's every chance they will win this time around.
-

Middlesbrough have started the season very well, winning all four games. In the process, they have scored seven goals and only conceded once. From the same number of games, Preston have taken seven points and, in the process, scored four goals and conceded three times. Middlesbrough have won their two away games, which were at Millwall and Norwich. Although Middlesbrough have lost on their last five visits to Preston, with the start they have had to the new season, I'm taking them to come away with a win.

Each team had a good result before the international break. Bournemouth won away at Tottenham, whilst Brighton won at home against Manchester City. Bournemouth are the higher of the two teams in the Premiership, and with Brighton losing their last away Premiership game, taking Bournemouth to get the win.
-

Newcastle have had a poor start to the season, taking just two points from their opening three games. Wolves have had an even worse start, losing all three games. Their only bright spot was an EFL Cup win against West Ham. Prior to the international break, Newcastle took a point when traveling to Leeds, while Wolves lost at home to a rejuvenated Everton. Last season saw Newcastle win this fixture, and despite not being in the best of form, I expect them to do so again.

Having been convincing winners away at Aston Villa, the home fans will be expecting another three points at home against newly promoted Sunderland. Providing Palace play as they did against Villa, then the home fans should see their first Premiership home win of the season. Sunderland have lost their only away Premiership fixture.
-
WIN @
The last three meetings between these two teams have all gone the way of Fulham. Leeds were totally outplayed in their last away Premiership game, which was at Arsenal. Against another London club, they may again struggle. Fulham drew their opening home game against Manchester City, and this looks like a good opportunity for them to get their first home win of the season.
-
WIN @
Aston Villa have had an awful start to the new Premier League season. Only one point from their opening three games and still waiting to score their first goal. Everton built on their first home win in their new stadium when traveling to Wolves and coming home with all three points. The way Everton played in their new stadium when defeating Brighton suggests they are well capable of winning this match.
-
WIN @
Having started the season very well, Tottenham put in an unbelievably bad performance when losing at home to Bournemouth. For them, the international break could well have done them the world of good. The players can come back focused and, against a poor West Ham side, should get back to winning ways.
-
WIN @
Brentford's only home game of the season saw them gain a narrow win against Aston Villa. Chelsea have started the season well, but on their last three visits to Brentford, they have come away with three consecutive draws. Two of those games saw neither side score. Brentford put in a decent display in their last game at Sunderland and conceded deep into added-on time to deny themselves a point. Being back at home, there's every chance Brentford could cause an upset.

Burnley were very unlucky not to come away with a point from their last game at Manchester United. Liverpool have started with three consecutive wins, but a time will come when that winning sequence will end. Burnley have won their only home Premiership fixture of the season, which was against Sunderland. They also won their home League Cup game against Derby.
-
WIN @
Early days of the new season, but both managers will be disappointed with the results they have achieved. Manchester United are currently the higher of the two teams in the table. Manchester United won this fixture last season, and with Manchester City coming into this game following two consecutive defeats, taking United to once again get the win.
