There is a lot of excitement coming out of New York this week, and gaming enthusiasts in Pennsylvania get to reap the rewards.

High 5 Games announced that it has been granted an Interactive Gaming Manufacturer License from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

This is the final hurdle the company had to clear before opening up shop in the Keystone State.

The license gives the company the ability to offer its games to Casino Sites in Pennsylvania, with immediate effect..

More on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is responsible for regulating all aspects of legal casino sites gambling in the state.

The Board issues licenses to casinos, horse racing tracks, and off-track betting facilities, as well as to manufacturers and suppliers of gaming equipment and services.

With its license in hand, High 5 Games can now offer its wide range of casino games and best slot games to Pennsylvania’s licensed operators.

Why High 5 Games Is a Big Deal

Since obtaining an iGaming license in Pennsylvania, the casino technology company can start providing its collection of over 300 casino games to players in the state, starting with a dozen fan favorites that will be available immediately.

High 5 Games is an absolute behemoth in the B2C and B2B social and online gaming worlds, with licenses and game certifications in multiple jurisdictions worldwide.

The company's casino platform is also used by a number of partners, including BetMGM and DraftKings, in Michigan, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Canada.

With this announcement, 12 of the developer’s slot games are to be made available in the state. Some of the High 5 Games' most popular titles include Dangerous Beauty, The Green Machine Deluxe, Secrets of the Forest, Midnight Eclipse, and Golden Knight.

High 5 has stated that more titles are underway for 2022, so potential clients will have plenty of choices.

The implications go well beyond just another slot company receiving a license to operate in a new state. Like every other stock, publicly-traded companies like MGM and DraftKings have taken colossal hits in the last few months.

However, with their partners aggressively hunting for new revenue streams, we might see some positive movement in the near future. While this aspect has little to do with gamers and more to do with investors, it's important to view all sides of this equation.

More revenue means more investors. More investors mean more partnerships which means more revenue from brands expanding into various states and countries. All of this adds up to more games in more states for the players that love slots.
