  • The interactive gaming manufacturer now operates in the biggest iGaming states

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has granted Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) temporary authorization, enabling it to operate as an interactive gaming manufacturer in the second biggest iGaming state, Pennsylvania.

Why GiG is Betting on Pennsylvania

GiG will strive to draw on its award-winning Player Account Manager (PAM) and Sportsbook to support new and existing customers seeking access to a thriving online gaming market. GiG has over four years of expertise in the US.

The inclusion of Pennsylvania to GiG's list of accessible markets will reinforce its potential to be the technical supplier of choice for both new challenger brands and tier-one operators. GiG already serves 26 regulated markets, with another nine on the horizon, including Ontario which is a big focus for the company.

Its agile technology complements the evolving requirement when operators enter new, more complex markets. It is built around simple configuration and event-driven architecture.

Being licensed in New Jersey already, Pennsylvania was the next obvious state for the company as it boasts of being the second largest iGaming state in the United states, and it still have incredible growth potential.

If we company continues in the same projection, we expect to see Michigan next on their radar for US states. However, there are no official statements backing this from GiG.

State Growth Time Growth value
Pennsylvania 11% 2021/08-2022/08 $98.6M
Michigan 32.4% 2021/07-2022/07 $25m

GiG Also Opens Its Doors In New Jersey With Playstar

PlayStar, powered by GiG, is now operational in New Jersey as the company accelerates its US development plans. With the help of personalization, interaction, and customer service from GiG, PlayStar promises to offer a distinctive online casino player experience.

GiG's platform is well positioned to power expansion for those with digital aspirations in regulated global markets.

As mentioned above, the regulation of esports betting in New Jersey has caused the business to expand dramatically, just like it did in Pennsylvania. Making casinos and gaming developers invest in the US and inform players.
