Two very poor runs last year meant he was sent off an 80/1 outsider in May. He showed enormous improvement finishing third (beat our NAP selection Awakino). Today's race is another where the form of the market leaders is nothing to get excited about. With Eoin Kelly taking 7lb off, there is a very realistic chance he'll make the podium.

I've never really got to grips with the summer jump racing so tend to stay away from betting on it, but AWAKINO looks to have a great chance in a race where the principals look questionable. She showed massive improvement from her debut run over this course and distance last time out in May in a decent race for the grade. Pushed into the lead close home she just didn't quite make it and finished a close 4-length fifth. That experience will have done her the world of good and with her allowances today she has significant weight advantages over many of her rivals. Promising claimer Danny Gilligan has a good record at Kilbeggan and will enhance her prospects.

tricky race at first glance but BUILT BY ROSSIES (16/1) seemed to be getting the hang of things late on in her second attempt at the hurdles recently in a decent race for the grade. She can build on that and make her presence felt today.

Favourite Kimy was a selection for us in the past but at 9/4 does not represent any value with her chequered form. More interesting is MOVE IT (20/1) who has recent race fitness yet remains unexposed with one bumper and one hurdle race to her name. The good ground seemed to suit her on hurdle debut where she finished only 7 lengths behind the winner, albeit in 10th. She meets three rivals from that race again today on better terms and can reverse the placings. A bold run expected.
